The point is that LCDs will produce a ghost image because the pixels on the LCD do not fade as they do with CRTs. Besides flickering, when have you ever seen ghosting on a CRT? I have never seen it. On the other hand, I have seen ghosting on LCDs, even on some high-end models with very low refresh rates.
Faster responce times for LCD's, that's where you get away from ghosting..........

Rep: ! had a 19" 12ms LCD for a time and it displayed a bit of ghosting on some games, but my new Samsung has a 6ms responce time and I've got no complaints.............
