PITTSBURGH, April 5 -- Avere Systems, the company setting new performance benchmarks in tiered NAS with its Demand-Driven Storage(TM) solutions, today announced that company co-founder and CEO Ron Bianchini will be a presenter at SNW Spring 2010 addressing "Dynamic Tiering - Taking Advantage of the Best of HDDs and Solid State" as part of the Solid State Track April 12th at 1:55 p.m. at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Fla. Bianchini will talk about how to build a NAS architecture that can dynamically tier data onto the most appropriate media - HDDs or Solid State Disks - while walking through several real-world case studies of tiering in action. By combining SSD and HDD in a dynamic tiered storage architecture that reduces equipment acquisition costs while increasing operational efficiencies, companies can improve performance and increase capacity in response to real-time business demands for the same or lower price as alternative storage solutions.
